After reading Rising Sun, I was sure that that was all he could write. I was wrong. A Case of Need is a very powerful, suspenseful, and enjoyable book. It's the best book I've read in a long time.8/17/2008 9:00:04 AMhttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/A-Case-of-Need/96760/255/d.aspxEaters of the Deadhttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/Eaters-of-the-Dead/129101/254/d.aspxDisgusting and boring, it's probably Crichton's worst novel.8/17/2008 8:57:16 AMhttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/Eaters-of-the-Dead/129101/254/d.aspxThe Runaway Juryhttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/The-Runaway-Jury/115276/253/d.aspxIt was just really boring and so far the only Grisham book I couldn't really get into.8/11/2008 1:33:42 PMhttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/The-Runaway-Jury/115276/253/d.aspxVelocityhttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/Velocity/37234/252/d.aspxAn interesting and suspenseful thriller, but it has a disappointing ending.8/10/2008 7:39:46 PMhttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/Velocity/37234/252/d.aspxThe Five People You Meet in Heavenhttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/The-Five-People-You-Meet-in-Heaven/49211/251/d.aspxAt times it reads like a blatant rip-off of Richard Matheson's What Dreams May Come, which is a far better book.8/10/2008 7:37:51 PMhttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/The-Five-People-You-Meet-in-Heaven/49211/251/d.aspxRising Sunhttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/Rising-Sun/129060/250/d.aspxWhile it wasn't a bad book by any means, I found it to be pretty predictable. Proof that Crichton should stick with sci-fi.8/5/2008 9:00:00 PMhttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/Rising-Sun/129060/250/d.aspxThe Old Man and the Seahttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/The-Old-Man-and-the-Sea/66865/249/d.aspxHemingway constructs a fantastic main character in Santiago. It's a great read and only takes an hour or two to finish.8/2/2008 10:09:08 PMhttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/The-Old-Man-and-the-Sea/66865/249/d.aspxMurder on the Orient Expresshttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/Murder-on-the-Orient-Express/111732/248/d.aspxBrilliant and unpredictable. It had a twist at the end which I didn't altogether like very much, but it was very entertaining and suspenseful throughout.8/2/2008 1:14:30 PMhttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/Murder-on-the-Orient-Express/111732/248/d.aspxA Farewell to Armshttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/A-Farewell-to-Arms/66853/247/d.aspxWell-written with good characters. One of Hemingway's best.7/29/2008 11:36:33 AMhttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/A-Farewell-to-Arms/66853/247/d.aspxDigital Fortresshttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/Digital-Fortress/110114/244/d.aspxSomewhat interesting book but there are a lot of stupid twists in the second half of the book and none of them are explained well.7/26/2008 6:17:36 PMhttp://books.2DoNext.com/reviews/Digital-Fortress/110114/244/d.aspxBook Addict!http://books.2DoNext.com/blogs/Book-Addict-/30/d.aspxI love almost all books and finnish 3-4 a week. It's more than a habit, it's an obsession. I have a hard time putting down a book when someone starts talking to me. I have broken myself of the habit of giving a nasty glare to the interrupter, at least. I love it when I get gift cards to book stores, since I know I'm an addict and I try to avoid the bookstore unless I have a preset spending limit.
