i can see why its a classic but it just didnt grab me. i forced myself to read it over the course of 2 days in the woods with nothing else to really do. just eat read and nap.
the language of course is great, poetic and all (it being an epic poem). the imagery evoked is good but i really have not much taste for religious writings. there were a couple memorable lines i.e. satanic logic and all but on the whole i just didnt enjoy it.
