thoreau was a punk
i credit this book with properly articulating much of what ive felt from my late-teens to now. most of what is done in this civilization is not only senseless but pointless. simplify your life as much as you can. walden was essentially written from pieces of his journal and reads as such, so its was a bit different from what im used to. getting going was difficult but once it got to the meat of the story i was hooked. theres a lot of wisdom here.
