like an ever flowing stream
at the risk of sounding like a hippie, this book had a profound impact on my perspective on life quite a bit after i had actually read it. i feel like i can appreciate it better with each passing day having only read it once. its presentation on the buddhist (i suppose) take on existence and humanity is something i find agreeable to a certain extent, but more than that i just feel a peculiar connection to its description of life and time. to me hesse got it right.
